Hi, most likely you are running at a security level thats too high check your setting in /etc/rc.conf Start it at -1 or disable it as a start. If thats not it you might not have the device in your kernel... add device io and recompile. END

Hi all, I've got a FreeBSD 6.x -current file server running NFS and I mount lots of things via NFS on other Freebsd 6.x -current servers with an NFS client. I get _lots_ of file locking issues. See below for just one example. I'm wondering, will NFSv4 fix this or switching to samba ? If not,

Hi, You can symlink these as needed. I do it all the time. You will run into problems if you try to simlink aclocal/automake the /usr/local/share/aclocal19 and the libtool15.m4 runs into issues... autoconf by itself however will work no problem. To the ports maintainer, T do very much appreciate
