Well, I just deleted all of /usr/src and not just /usr/src/sys and reinstalled it and now everything works fine again. Although I do not have to understand what was the cause of the problem I would be gratefull for any hints, after all I do not want only to use FreeBSD but also learn more about

Error mounting fat partition
