I have two processes running on the same computer communicating with sockets created with AF_INET. It works extraordinarily well. I choose all the normal stuff to make the sockets, but I think if I choose some other flags, specific to IPC on the same computer, then the connection will be much more optimized.
Where should I look for optimization flags? I looked in all the normal places, but can't find any.
