In the handbook - both hardcopy an online versions - there is a procedure by which
one can install a linux version of Mathematica 4.X onto FreeBSD and make it work.
I have the linux versions of Mathematica 5.0.0 and 5.0.1. The procedure outlined
in your handbook doesn't appear to apply to these releases. Has anyone figured out
how to accomplish this?
