If that's not possible, I guess I need to know the same thing as Alvaro here was asking... The other problem is that when it goes into passive mode, the ip changes form a global one to the local ip the machine is on! So it really only works well on the local network --

Now I don't know if that's a result of using a certain NAT setup vs another, but I'm using ipnat + ipfilter, and I had ftp forwarded to a windows box, and it worked fine for ftp, setting ports 10010-1030 for passive mode. I then decided to play with ncftpd on a linux box a while back, and it too
