You're best bet for maya back-end is upgrading to 5.3-RELEASE, but anyways You'll want to untar the TGZ files and install ports/archivers/rpm2cpio and use the following example rpm2cpio FILENAME.rpm | cpio -id Just curious, what version of maya are you trying to run? Michael On Nov 15, 2004, at
