Wohooo, it finally worked! I think I'm just going to leave the Adaptec card in there. Just by looking at the bios menu makes me feel more confident that it is a better product. The Highpoint bios was really mediocre in comparison. Anyway, I will e-mail Soren today regarding this

Well, I downloaded the boot floppies from the most current snapshot which was dated May 18. Anyway, I booted my system up, and still no luck in the dmesg =(. I even started the 'Standard' installation to see if it would give me the choice to configure ar0; unfortunately, ad4, and ad6 were the only
