i have to make modifictions to the kernel and
i have been encountering kernel crashes all the
time.
the kernel panics with messages starting with
vm_fault: and then crashes and reboots.
i guess i have done incorrect memory operations and
i want to know where i went wrong.

what happens when you run savecore yourself? You may not have enough
space on /var to save the dump.
