hello, i've just discovered strange and unexpected behaviour of portsnap: i configured sudo to allow me to run the script with the following contents: /usr/sbin/portsnap fetch /usr/sbin/portsnap update /usr/local/sbin/portversion -v -l "<" /usr/local/sbin/portaudit -Fda to be precise -- i allow my user to run (via sudo) any of the programs above plus the script itself. now when i first ran the script as a normal user via sudo, portsnap deleted and recreated the whole /usr/ports directory structure. subsequent runs went as expected. then i ran the script from root as i had been always doing and again portsnap deleted and recreated the whole ports directory structure. i guess this is not intended right? or am i missing something here?
cheers, martin _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
