I have big problems using mysql. I really tried so many different
combinations of software and configurations, but it's always the
same: mysqld crashes.
My preferred setup:
FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE-p10
/usr/ports cvsupped daily
perl-5.8.0_8 (will try 5.8.1 soon)
mysql-server-4.0.16
and you can believe me that I
love FreeBSD much more! :))
