Command to list data

2003-07-04 Thread Nucking Futs
I am wondering how a shell provider running FreeBSD sets up data to be
output with a command. For example typing vhosts at the command prompt
would list a bunch of ip addresses. How would I set this up?

Re: Bandwidth Question

In ports under Net there is IPFM i haven't played with it yet but it is
supposed to do some of what you are looking for. Do a google search and you
can find the homepage of the author. I would be interested in any
information you find out on this subject.

Subject: Bandwidth Question
Date: Thu, 03 Jul 2003 11:45:39 -0400
Hello,

I was wondering what is the best way to limit bandwidth to a set of IP
addresses? I've read some about dummynet. Would this be the preffered
tool to use? Also, if someone could recommend a program to log how much
bandwidth a particular IP uses per month etc..., and also display graphs
about bandwidth usage I would appreciate it.

Thank You
-Chris

Disable PING command

How would I go about disabling users command to ping? If need be I would be
willing to just disable the ping command altogether as a last resort.

Limit Processes

2003-07-01 Thread Nucking Futs
How would I set up a users account so I could limit the number of
processes they use? For example if they are allotted 5 processes and they
start a 6th either all the processes get killed or the sixth is not allowed,
something along those lines.

Disk Space

2003-07-01 Thread Nucking Futs
How would I set up a users account so they are only allotted lets say 100
MB of disk space? Anything more would not be allowed and they would be just
allotted the 100 MB.
