Device_Polling Network Cards

2004-04-20 Thread Obi Okeke
Does anyone know what network cards can take advantage
of device_polling?

I already am aware that these cards/drivers can use
it, but I am wondering if FreeBSD 4.8/4.9 specifically
support more network cards know. Thanks in advance.

2003-08-14 Thread AO Okeke
Does anyone know how I can connect directly to the Mbone to do multicasting
with my Helix server? I read that I could use mrouted to geta direct connect
to the Mbone, but what ip address do I connect to? or should I try the 6bone
instead? My friends and I want to have videoconferences and use streaming
media via Helix. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

VMware on FreeBSD

2003-01-21 Thread Okeke
Hello, I cannot use VMware 2.x on FreeBSD 4.7-prod
because I don't have a 2.x license #. I use VMware
for Linux host but I cannot use that 3.x license # on
my FreeBSD system.

Can you direct me to where I can find a work-around?
or how I can run VMware 3.x on FreeBSD?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you
