Hi, I have the same problem with USB flash drive, the kernel recognizes it, but sometimes it works, sometimes not with the same messages: /kernel: da0: reading primary partition table: error reading fsbn 0
The device works fine under Win2k/XP, so i'm sure, that this is not a hardware problem.
