Looking to build an HPC cluster.

Hey Everyone, I have recently become increasingly interested in building a cluster at home(for the knowledge) so that I may be able to incorporprate one at work. I have 4 identical machines (i know this isn't required, but it will make things easier on my part). They are just Gateway desktops -

New 5.4 installation locks up at 'uhcio0'

I just installed FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE on a Compaq Proliant 1600 Server at work. This model is dual-Pentium III 500MHz, 1 GB RAM, 3x9.1 GB Ultra2 SCSI in RAID 5 array. It is to be used for our new intranet server and perhaps also some Proxy functions. When booting the installation CD, it locked

5.3 and 5.4RC1 both fail with CD upon installation(5.1 did not)
