I try to compile a kernel for a sparc64 on my FreeBSD 4.5 box.
So I cvsup with:
*default host=ftp.fr.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/usr
*default prefix=/usr
*default release=cvs tag=.
*default delete use-rel-suffix

Now - I see I need to increase my swap partition. Do I have to wipe my
installation and start again?
it depend if you have free space on your hard disk, if so you can try growfs.
If not, you have to wipe your installation and start again :-(
