You can configure "/etc/ppp/ppp.linkdown" to redial.
[ppp.linkdown]
isp:
/usr/sbin/ppp -quiet -ddial -nat isp
#--end ppp.linkdown
(change isp to your isp label)
and put redial to your /etc/ppp/ppp.conf
man ppp to see how
