Hi folks!
I have to rsync heavy loaded server. When rsync comes to the server mysql
became mostly non-accessible.
And of course gstat shows > 100% busy.
So I think I need an disk io priority management. Tried to renice rsync but no
success.
I heard there in Linux world people have ionice tool as

I have a task to replicate about 11G of files with 500k total files count.
I say replication not mirroring i.e. I need to copy modified files to slaves
almost imidiately after the change.

Is there any way to get the apache13 port (/usr/ports/www/apache13) to use
perl 5.8 when compiling instead of perl 5.6. If so, how would I go about
doing thisI have perl 5.8 already installed from ports, that's why I
ask.

I recently cvsupped my -CURRENT box (about a day ago), and I noticed
that GCC 3.3.1 had been imported, so I decided to buildworld so I can
use Pentium 4 optimizations when compiling ports and other things. I
have p4 set for CPUTYPE in /etc/make.conf , but when I compile anything,
it uses -marc
