1. I'm trying to compile NEWKERN. #config NEWKERN
#CD ../ ../compile/NEWKERN
Permission Denied
2. could not change permissions for etc/fstab also.Can no longer write
I may try:
chattr -V -i NEWKERN
chmod u+x NEWKERN
