You can start a fork of it, change its name, its license, and keep it as
a separate project... people will use the same software with another
name.

here is a script made by Benjamin Lutz that checks all ports need to
be rebuilded, so, you need to rebuild all these packages using
portupgrade -f packagename, or use the /etc/libmap.conf.

Hi all,
I have a box running FreeBSD-5.2.1-RELEASE-p9, and I have a jail
running on this machine, all works fine.
When FreeBSD-5.3 releases, I want to upgrade my box to this version,
how must I proceed to upgrade my box and my jail to new version?

Does anyone know if exist any problem with FreePascal on FreeBSD?
PS: I tried with fpc-1.0.10, 1.9.2 and 1.9.4 and get the same error.

php related ports, now, you
install php4 without extensions and install all extensions (mysql,
ftp, pcre) separetelly, or using lang/php4-extensions.
All changes are described on /usr/ports/UPDATING
