Panics can hardly be considered normal... I was unable to reproduce the
issue though, is it possible for you to get a backtrace and tell us what
release are
ut(1) with -c or something similar in other scripting
language? It looks like that the output is aligned.

-g means that you have a
kernel.debug which contains debugging symbols, which is quite useful
if you get a kernel panic and want to report it back. On the other
hand, debugging symbols would be stripped before you install a new
kernel so it does not affect the running kernel.
