I noticed that you can specify, per partition newfs options in the label screen of the installer. So that is what I wanted, that is what I did. Either that or see if there isn't a pile of cruft hidden away in some directory that you forgot about. Such a thing happened to me once and by deleting a pile of stuff I was able to limp along quite well until I was able to schedule a rebuild.
