I have a little problem with acpi on the 4.9 release. I have compiled the kernel with the device and dmesg
gives me the following:
bash-2.05b# dmesg |grep acpi acpi0: <DELL CPi > on motherboard acpi_cpu0: <CPU> on acpi0 acpi_tz0: <thermal zone> on acpi0 acpi_acad0: <AC adapter> on acpi0 acpi_cmbat0: <Control method Battery> on acpi0 acpi_cmbat1: <Control method Battery> on acpi0 acpi_lid0: <Control Method Lid Switch> on acpi0 acpi_button0: <Power Button> on acpi0 acpi_button1: <Sleep Button> on acpi0 acpi_timer0: <24-bit timer at 3.579545MHz> port 0x808-0x80b on acpi0
Now that is all fine and i'm happy, but i cant seem to find any way to use this, i have no acpi or acpiconf
tried to locate them in /usr/ports/INDEX to see if it was something i needed to install, but with no luck.
I Did find /usr/ports/devel/acpicatools, but that package did not include the acpi or acpiconf.
So simply but, my questions is, where do i locate these 2 so i can actually use the acpi functions.
With best regards
