BusLink USB Drive Support? (follow-up)

Someone had asked me to post the output of "usbdevs":

addr 1: UHCI root hub, Intel
 addr 2: USB-ATAPI4 Bridge Controller, BUSlink Inc.
So the system sees the USB hard drive.  But it's not clear whether I can 
actually use this as a filesystem or not.
