Create and remove symbolic link in system start up and shutdown

Hi , Does anyone know how to create remove a symbolic link in the system start up and system shutdown? ie: (i'm using 3rd party sendmail that store in /opt/test/sendmail folder and create a symbolic link to start this sendmail in the system start up) # ln -s
