Hi Roland, First off: tnx for your reply! I haven't tried burning DVDs with the ATA driver. The manual page for growisofs says that you should use SCSI devices on OpenBSD and NetBSD, but it doesn't mention FreeBSD. Hmmm, one would guess FreeBSD not to be very different in that respect.
