I wanted to ask if FreeBSD is suitable to the needs of the site our company is building, a large scale video upload and download center. You can see a small version of what we're doing at: http://papalove.tv/ Also, we are funding this out of our own shallow pockets, avoiding venture capital, in an effort to create a media center that will always remain independent, serving artists rather than advertisers. So, I'd like to reach out to you and your community to see if you may know of any programmers, designers, or even film/video artists who may be sympathetic to our cause and interested in knowing more and participating.
