I recently installed Gnucash 1.8.3 using the ports system but receive the following message when I attempted to run the program: Application "gnucash" (process xxx) has crashed due to a fatal error. (Segmentation fault) I submitted a bug report through the gnome system and was advised to talk with the port maintainer to get a more reaonable response.
My ports are all current and I've already deinstalled and rebuilt the system trying to work out any compiling problems. Do you have any recommendations re my next steps? Thank you.
