I am trying to configure npassword to work on a freebsd 4.4 machine and am having problems with the shadow passwords options. I can get it to compile and install, but it is changing the passwords in the /etc/passwd file rather than the /etc/master.passwd file.
I have not been able to compile with any of the p_shadow files that are included with the distibution.
