There are no archivers/php52-zlib.
So, it is unavailable to install lang/php52 with lang/php5-extensions,
having zlib extension choosen at make config.
looks like these ports are making it into the tree also, I just did a
portsnap fetch update
portdowngrade seems is what I need.
So, I run it:
# portdowngrade lang/php5
portdowngrade 0.6 by Heiner Eichmann
Please note, that nothing is changed in the ports tree
unless it is explicitly permitted in step 6!

php 5.2 is not currently in the ports system. You could get it by
using porteasy or portdowngrade.
