Playing wav sounds

Maybe a stupid question, but on a FreeBSD 4.9R-p4, is it possible to play a sound, like a wav file, without having installed any graphic shells? I'd like to play some wav sounds on certain events. Thanks, - Mark ___ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
