Yes. Just installed the latest from nvidia.
after boot and login
#sysctl hw.nvidia.agp.status.status
hw.nvidia.agp.status.status: disabled
However after fire off a X server..
#sysctl hw.nvidia.agp.status.status
hw.nvidia.agp.status.status: enabled
Are you using xorg or XFree86?

Interesting... I'm running 5-STABLE and it doesn't work on any of my
machines and they're all set up pretty much the same way you have
yours set
up.
