I found a way using Bochs (bochs.sourceforge.net). It will boot an iso image as
will vmware 4.5 (others?).
I have however run into a hiccup. 4.x will boot, 5.x won't. I've submitted it
as a possilbe bug to the
bochs bug tracker. If anyone in the freebsd
