Just use the built-in dialer - it's called ppp. See the manpage for it, or
the handbook:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/userppp.html

you shouldn't need to download any drivers, unless it's a Lucent Winmodem,
in which case the ltmdm port might prove helpful.
