I think it'd be worth it to check out postfix. sendmail is insecure, and qmail is just too much of a pain in the ass to get working. postfix can take a bit of time, but it runs well once you've got it working. The only thing I've found is that whenever I upgrade ports, it breaks. It's actually

My main complaint with qmail is that it's not very standard. The core of qmail hasn't been updated in a couple years (I think that's right, correct me if I'm wrong), so in order to update it or add functionality, you have to apply a bunch of patches from a bunch of sources. I like the fact that
