In the last episode (Dec 24), paul beard said: acd0: CD-RW IDE-CD ReWritable-2x2x6 at ata1-slave PIO3 Short of taking it out of the case, of course. burncd seems not to have the same inquiry tools as cdrecord. Add device atapicam to your kernel config and it will show up as a SCSI drcom.
