I just checked the image and it's fine. I also did md5 checks between the image and the CD to see if it burned properly and all looks good. and/or b) Try the amd64 version? No... I tried the amd64 version over a year ago (maybe 5.2 release?) and had loads of problems building ports. Since I use FreeBSD for my desktop machine, I depend on lots of them. I'm unable to even boot the FreeBSD 6.0 install CD (i386 version). I have an AMD64 with an Nvidia nForce 3 250Gb based motherboard (MSI K8N Neo Platinum), currently running 4.10-RELEASE.
