I clearly have a problem figuring out how to increase the limits for
memory available to a process and the kernel.
I'm running a Perl app that need lots of memory and I would like to make
around 2G available to it, the box has 4G physical RAM.
Which knob(s) should be tweaked? System is

Out of memory
