Have you tried setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the directory where libpq is? Are you getting this error after psql or something like it? If you haven't, then set LD_LIBRARY_PATH, then type 'ldd command'. This will tell you which libs are found and which are not. Hope this helps. Corey On
