On my system (9.1-RELEASE-p3 on amd64), libchk reports:
Unresolvable link(s) found in: /usr/local/lib/liblangtag-gobject.so.2
liblangtag.so.1
'pkg which' informs me that:
/usr/local/lib/liblangtag-gobject.so.2 was not found in the database
How can I fix the problem

With this little information, the only thing I can think of is to
reinstall the libraries. You could try something like
portupgrade -f

Hi
libchk found problems with my libraries. Is there any program like pkgdb -F
that I can run to fix my port libraries?
Thank you.

Running libchk I find for instance
Unresolvable link(s) found in: /usr/X11R6/lib/firefox/components/libjar50.so
libnspr4.so
libplc4.so
libplds4.so
libxpcom.so
What should I do?
Delete /usr/X11R6/lib/firefox/components/libjar50.so ?
Delete the 4 cited *.so files

I've been tracking stable and current on a couple machines and doing
portupgrades.
I noticed that super karamba started acting screwy, so I somehow stumbled
across libchk and I ran it and I believe it said something about super
karamba having an unresolvable link, so I de/reinstalled

Hi all,
I've installed libchk and read the man-page, but I'm not sure about
what to do with it.
I've got *lots* of unreferenced libraries: do I have to remove them ?
More generally: what's your usage of libchk ?
TIA,
nicholas
