Suddenly, after upgrading of my FreeBSD-Stable box I got message from
VMWare: VMware Workstation PANIC: BUG F(571):1607 bugNr=2302.
Anybody can help me to fix this bug? (I tryed back to 4.8-release but it
didn't help ...)

Dear all
I just installed Vmware2 on a 4.8Rel box
works fine in a window but when you press full screen it hangs the entire
system
hard reset is the only recovery
X is on ttyv9 and there is ttyva for its full screen console
I am using the NVIDIA_FreeBSD-1.0-3203 as a driver
This is on XFree 4

i installed the vmware2 port and it works fine execpt for networking.
I selected "Netgraph bridging" and "bind to interface sis0", which is my
machine's NIC.
When i do /usr/local/etc/rc.d/vmware start, the module gets loaded, and my

Well, after some research last night, there is apparantly no way to trap
cpuid calls. :(
Anyone out there know anyway to trap the simd enabling instruction in
vmware?

The vmware2 port needs a license key, but VMWare is only offeringtrial
keys (or paid-for keys) for v3.2, which has not been ported afaik.
Does anyone have a liense file for 2.0 I could borrow?

/usr/ports/emulators/vmware2
