I followed the suggestion that you gave in following link about gdm automatic login http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2004-August/054439. html and my portable computer also hangs on login screen after I reboot. The message is "Authentication failed. Letters must be typed in the correct case. Please advice me. Thank you in advance.
