Ok, after about an hour of Googling and following several sets of
directions, I've not yet been able to sync my Palm Zire. Does anyone
have any pointers or suggestions?
Realivent information:
Using 5.2.1-RELEASE
ucom and uvisor compiled into kernel

is machine
a can not ping or ssh to machine b, from machine a's point of view it's as
if machine b doesn't exist, yet machine c has no difficulties interacting
with machine b. I hope the above made sense. Any help appreciated.

three possible methods of operation, parallel, USB, and PCMCIA, in this case

and enabled apm via that file as well. I've also put apm_enable in rc.conf.

I want to turn DHCP on my router off.
How can I use FreeBSD to get an IP addresss from it? When the system
boots, it runs dhclient, which hangs for awhile before getting anything.

unlikely that cvsup3.jpg.FreeBSD.org though would be suffering.
Have you tried another cvsup server?

going through the resulting log file which vividly detailed the smtp
transaction i got the same error from smtpd as in my original post, no
additional information.

jailed use? I've tried an install with the jail patch, but it blew out
stating that a jail had to be configured. Has anyone got samba working under

infected, but nothing else, no worms, and it didn't say with what. Given my

though i select public key authentication, so i ssh to machine1, on my
network, then from there try to ssh to machine3. This does not work, i'm
repeatedly prompted for a passphrase which i don't have.

only doing
1.00 mb a sec, that sounds like usb1 to me, this controller and device are
both 2.0 capable. Secondly, fdisk, newfs, bsdlabel, mount, the procedure for
adding disks in the handbook, all return read input/output errors. Any help
appreciated.
