I have a FreeBSD 5.3RC1 and Mandrake 10 Connected over NFS. Server is on Mandrake and FreeBSD is only client. Transfer rate for files is great, but scanning folders on the NFS mount is ubearably slow. CPU usage on both machines is close to 0%, on Mandrake I can see a nfsd daemon or two fired up
