hello is there any commands that let freebsd connect from the shell instead of the x window like how kde has kppp to connect to the isp is there any shell commands to do the same thing so i can connect to my isp using the shell and never needing to use the x window __

hello is there a command in the shell that will let me connect to my service provider so i can get on the internet to do things like web search I just dont like having to open up the x window just to get on the net so is there a way of doing it in the shell ___
