Hi I am trying to get OO 1.1.2 running on 4.10 I have KDE installed. I have managed to install the software, but now I cannot run it. When I installed, I could not execute the installation instructions from a command line as requested, but there were no permission problems as suggested.

It is safe to install ports from within KDE ? At present I shut down KDE, go to the command line and start a Make. If I need to get a file manually from somewhere, I go back into KDE to get it. I would rather do it all from within KDE if possible. The Shell Konsole appears to be the same as

I have just installed 4.10R (again :)). I did not install KDE from packages. As soon as I installed the bare system I cvsup'd all the ports, then did a make install kde3. This completed successfully, albeit in 3 days. I then tried to make package for kde so I wouldnt need to compile it again.

JBoss ports in use - tomcat
