find out exact disc geometry.

Hi all,
I want to block internet sharing for some LAN users. I want to block by MAC address,
because if I am blocking ip addresses, some users changes their IPs and have internet
on their computers. Can somebody explain me, how can i do it or give any good how-to?
Maybe there is some other way

I have problem with freebsd. I'm using ipfw + natd to share internet connection to my
network (LAN) users, but my server is not sharing internet. My server has internet. It
pings google.com, etc.
Machine: FreeBSD4.9-STABLE

i'm sharing internet to my local area network (LAN) users with my router. Everything
would be fine, but internet is very slow. I tried to ping my ISP. Ping reply is ~50ms.
It means, that internet for LAN users should be good enough, but it isn't. Ping reply
in IRC is ~15 seconds. Then I tr

Some computers are connected in LAN via SWITCH. My router is connected to
that switch too. Lan users have configured their OS, that gateway is
192.168.0.1 (my router's LAN ip address).

Btw, i have a static internet ip address, not the dynamic. I have read the
man ipfw BUGS section, but still I can't understand, how can i solve my
problem.

When u formated your floppy, u have to use disklabel to label floppy disc:
disklabel -w -r /dev/fd0 fd1440
and then u have to make new file system on that floppy:
newfs /dev/fd0
That's all, now u can mount your floppy disc.

i have a problem with ipfw + natd. The problem is that my FreeBSD server
isn't routing internet. First I have used FreeBSD4.9-STABLE, then i tried to
upgrade to FreeBSD4.9-RELEASE-p4. Result is the same - no internet for lan
users. Take a look at my configuration files:
