Setting this to 3 tells the driver to try the native AGP first. I had
trouble with this, and had to compile the agp device out of my kernel
to get it to work right. Notice below that I set NvAGP to 1.
For some reason the sysctl var is set to 3 even though I use
Option NvAGP 1
in xorg.conf.

Progress is very often nothing more than a change in error conditions

Just to make sure.
You are using medias that your CD-ROM can read. I once almost ripped my hair
of when I couldn't get an old machine to boot from cd. At the time I was
using CD-RW medias and the drive was not able to read them. So if you are
using CD-RW try a CD-R.

All,
I have a small program that simply changes the scheduling policy to SCHED_RR
with sched_setscheduler and then exec's into another program. This worked fine
in FBSD 5.x and 6.x. Now when I'm migrating to 8.1 I get EPERM from the the
setscheduler call.
I have learned that If I start the same
need to use the /usr/src make build and /usr/release make release
scheme?
If so can I use the 5.4 distro CD's as the CVS repository somehow? Or do I
really need the cvs checkout via internet - I'm having problems with this
(company rules conc internet access).
If not so how do I do?
