I have been using hp surestore dat 24 External tape drive with a hp
dd3 data cartridge for backing up /var filesystem. I am using FreeBSD
4.9.
I can do the back up using the dump command. However when I try to
restore the filesystem , I get an error

Hello all,
I am having a heck of a time getting ppp to work correctly. I can connect to my isp
using ppp manually (going into TERM mode, etc.). But once I am connected this way I
can't return to packet mode and I can't access the internet outside of that terminal
window.
