5.3-BETA1 released today for testing
http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.3R/schedule.html says that the 5.3-BETA1 tier-1 platform images are scheduled to be released and uploaded to ftp-master.FreeBSD.org by Aug 20, 2004. The ftp-master.FreeBSD.org server does not accept guest or anonymous logons. Is the testing release of 5.3-BETA1 behind schedule allready and not yet on ftp-master.FreeBSD.org? How can people get 5.3-BETA1 miniistall.iso image for testing? What is the status of this testing release and how do people get access to help out in testing? ___ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When ftp-master is updated with 5.3-BETA1, it will then be possible for the mirror sites to d/l it to make it available for the general public. ftp-master is only available to mirror sites. When it becomes available on your local mirror is dependent on their sync schedule.
