Hi list, After I loaded a driver (ubsec), I saw this line in the log: cryptosoft0: software crypto on motherboard Is it something I can take advantage of? This is the crypto(4) driver. It provides a device-independent framework to support cryptographic operations in the kernel. I.e. is uses hardware if available. If not it uses software, like in this case. One use of it is encrypting disk partitions with geli(8).
